MICHAEL SCHUMACHER BACK ON TRACK WITH MERCEDES GP FOR THE 2010 F1 SEASON
|
The first race of the season turned into the most boring procesion seen in years(more new rules !!) But admittedly
Mercedes were not on par with Ferrari, Red Bull & Mclaren - An Alonso / Massa 1-2 for Ferrari with Hamilton 3rd.
Australia Showed Mercedes more on pace But Michael was slowed in Qualifying by Hamilton Then Alonso ending up
7th on the grid again. His Race was decided on the first Corner when a shunt between Button & Alonso sent Alonso into
Michael requireing the replacement of his front wing. He did record 4th fastest lap with team mate Rosberg recording
2nd fastest so the car seemed to be working well. Button (Mclaren) 1st with Kubica (Renault) 2nd & Massa (Ferrari) 3rd.
Some good racing but no great results for now, as Despite lacking no commitment Michael seems to have a problem adapting to managing the Bridgestone tyres and of course the ban on testing is certainly not helping.
